A gruff looking man enters the establishment and steps up to the bar.
“What’ll it be, mister?” the professional looking bartender asks.
“I’ve been sorely disappointed at not being able to find a proper dry martini in this town.”
“No problem sir, I can make you one with a ratio of gin to vermouth of one hundred to one.”
“Not nearly dry enough for my taste, good sir.”
“How about a thousand to one?”
“Still not dry enough,” said the patron.
The bartender looked wryly at the man. “What if I just whispered the word vermouth across the top of the glass?”
“Well, we can give that a try.”
A few moments later the bartender delivers the drink. The gentleman raises it to his lips and takes a sip. He looks at the bartender with a dour look on his face and bluntly declares, “Loudmouth!”
